REDDIT IN ONE HAND AND FACEBOOK ADS IN THE OTHER

I just saw an AI tool being peddled on Facebook called an "Interview Whisperer." It sits on your screen during a Zoom call and "whispers" the answers to you so you can trick the recruiter.

OMG Becky!

Let’s be forensic about what this actually is: It’s a lobotomy of professional integrity.

If you need a bot to tell you what to say during an interview, what happens when you actually get the job? Is there a "Workday Whisperer" that’s going to sit on your shoulder for 8 hours a day and do the thinking for you?

AI is laughing at us. It has convinced millions of Seekers that they are "unworthy" without a digital crutch. It’s setting you up to fail because the moment a real-world problem hits your desk—a problem that isn't in a database—the "Whisperer" will go silent, and you will be exposed. I feel for all the CEOS that let these fakers into their house.


I’m looking at these numbers below for Reddit and Facebook, and I see Millions of people standing on one side of a broken bridge.

I stood back from my monitor today and did some more research to post to get the ball rolling in a better direction, so you don't hire people trying to trick the system, that cannot even think for themselves in an interview!!! There is a better way.  These numbers are today.  Think what they will be in 1 month.

Godfather of AI Reveals the Jobs That Will Be Replaced FirsT

Geoffrey Hinton, the Nobel Prize-winning computer scientist widely known as the ‘Godfather of AI,’ has issued a stark warning regarding the future of the global job market. After decades of pioneering the neural networks that make modern AI possible, Hinton suggests that the "job shock" is no longer a distant theory—it is already beginning.

The "Mundane Intellectual Labor" Threshold

Hinton predicts that AI will first target what he calls "mundane intellectual labor." This refers to white-collar roles that involve processing information, scheduling, and "text-in, text-out" tasks. Rather than replacing entire industries overnight, Hinton envisions a shift where one person using an AI assistant will perform the work previously handled by ten people.

Jobs Most at Risk (The "First Wave")

According to Hinton’s recent analysis and supporting data from industry reports, the following roles are on the "chopping block" within the next 24 to 48 months:

  • Call Center & Customer Service: Hinton stated, "If I worked in a call center, I’d be terrified." These roles are being automated through advanced chatbots that can now reason and empathize better than earlier versions.
  • Legal Assistants & Paralegals: Much of the research and document preparation handled by junior legal staff is now being performed by AI in a fraction of the time.
  • Data Entry & Translation: Roles that require the mechanical movement of data from one format to another are effectively obsolete.
  • Junior Financial Analysts: Basic accounting and market data analysis are now handled by algorithms that do not require sleep or salaries.
  • Telemarketing & Cold Calling: Automated systems are increasingly taking over the high-volume outreach once handled by humans.


The "Safe" Zone: Physical Manipulation

When asked what career path he would recommend to a young person today, Hinton’s answer was famously practical: "Be a plumber."

His logic is based on "physical manipulation." While AI is incredibly advanced at digital and cognitive tasks, robotics still lags significantly behind in navigating the unpredictable, physical world. Trades that require human dexterity, real-world problem-solving, and in-person interaction—such as plumbers, electricians, and carpenters—are considered the safest from AI replacement for the foreseeable future.


The Wealth Inequality Warning

Hinton concluded his prediction with a social warning. He noted that while AI will lead to a massive increase in productivity, that wealth is currently poised to stay with the companies that own the AI, rather than the workers being replaced.

"If you get a big increase in productivity, everybody should be better off. But if you can replace lots of people by AIs, then the people who get replaced will be worse off, and the company that supplies the AIs will be much better off."
